Born in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1992, Emi has always loved the circus arts. At age 5, she begins to practice rhythmic gymnastics. Very quickly, she joined the Swiss national team and, thanks to her talent, she won several international competitions.

At the age of 7, while pursuing her rhythmic gymnastics career, she went on to train at the Ecole de Cirque in Lausanne where she chose to practice contortion and the aerial hoop. In 2006, she participated in the festival La Première Rampe in Monaco and reached the final on the French TV show “Incroyable Talent”. Thanks to the Little Dreams Foundation created by Oriane and Phil Collins, she gets the support of Franco Knie.

In 2008, she entered the Atelier Rudra Béjart school in Lausanne, where she perfected herself in dance while pursuing her circus training in a self-taught way.

In the spring of 2010, she was noticed by Cirque Éloize and Jeannot Painchaud offered her a contract for her creation, ID. She presents a number of fabric and contortion.

In summer 2013, the talent of the young artist is noticed by the 7 fingers of the hand, which offers him a 2 months contract for their show Amuse in Mexico.

Today, Emi Vauthey works around the world for different companies and shows.
